Home Automation

Many of the ubiquitous devices we take for granted in our homes are already connected: media players, security systems, even thermostats are now part of the Internet of Things. As this network of devices grows, it becomes even more powerful, allowing manufacturers to provide feature upgrades, perform diagnostics or maintenance, and enhance the end user’s experience. Soon, many of the devices that have traditionally been standalone, such as smoke detectors, will join the IoT, with many benefits for homeowners, insurance companies, and electronics manufacturers.
